77. Labeling, packaging and advertising of medical device

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

No person shall label, package, treat, process, sell, assemble, distribute or advertise any medical device in a manner that is false, misleading, deceptive or likely to create an erroneous impression regarding its safety and efficacy.
