11. Amendment of section 365 of the principal enactment

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Section 365 of the principal enactment is hereby amended as follows :—

Soliciting a child.

(1)

by the substitution for the word “Explanation” in that section of the following:—

“Explanation (1)—” ;

(2)

by the addition, immediately after Explanation 1 of that section, of the following new

Explanation :—

“Explanation (2) : “injuries” includes psychological or mental trauma.”.
