6. Replacement of the heading “Kidnapping and Abduction.”

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The heading appearing immediately before section 350 of the principal enactment is hereby repealed and the following new heading substituted therefor:—

“OF KIDNAPPING, ABDUCTION, SLAVERY, ETC.”
