9. Use of a weapon while committing an offence

Where at the trial of a person for an offence under section 3 or section 4 or section 5 or section 6 of this Act, it is proved that such person was armed with a deadly weapon when committing such offence, he may be sentenced to a term of imprisonment extending to fifteen years.
