7. Acquisition, possession etc. of proceeds of crime to be an offence

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Any person who knowing or having reasonable grounds to believe that a property is proceeds of crime, acquires, possesses, uses, has custody, exercises dominion over, controls, or retains such property commits an offence.
