3. Amendment of the Preamble of the principal enactment

The Preamble of the principal enactment is hereby amended as follows:-

(1)

for the words “subversive activities or civil commotion” of the words “subversive activities, or as a result of the conflict which took place in the

Northern and Eastern Provinces or its aftermath or political unrest or civil disturbances or enforced disappearances;”;
