97. Service of Notices

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Any notice or other document required or authorized by or under this Act to be served on any insurer, shall be served on any director or manager or officer thereof in accordance with the provisions in that behalf contained in the Companies Act, No. 17 of 1982, and, if so served, shall be deemed for the purposes of this Act to have been duly served.
