176. Acts applicable to the criminal process

(1)

The Code of Criminal Procedure Act, No. 15 of 1979 shall be applicable in the conduct of all prosecutions made under this Act and except for offences under Part V, proceedings on behalf of the Commission shall be instituted by the Director-General.

(2)

In prosecutions and in civil actions under this Act, the provisions of the Electronic Transactions Act, No. 19 of 2006 shall apply to and in relation to the admissibility of evidence of electronic records or other documents.
