44. Supplementary provisions relating to default proceedings

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Nothing in the Companies Act, No. 7 of 2007 nor any other written law, shall prevent or interfere with the default proceedings instituted by a licensed clearing house in the realization and disposition of any market collateral by the licensed clearing house.
