26. Authority to act notwithstanding the National Child Protection Authority Act…

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The Authority shall have the power to perform and discharge the duties and functions assigned to such Authority under this Part of this Act, notwithstanding the provisions of the National Child Protection Authority Act, No. 50 of 1998.
