33. Default of paymcn1

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Where default is made in the payment of any sum due on any loan granted on the mortgage of property whether that sum is due on account of principal or interest or of both, default shall be deemed to be made in respect of the whole of the unpaid portion of that loan and the interest due thereon.
