12. Rangers to be discharged on expiration of period of enrollment

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

A ranger may, on the expiration of the period for which he was enrolled be discharged from the Corps, subject to the regulations made under this Act. Any ranger so discharged may, where necessary be enrolled in terms of an agreement entered into in that behalf.
