22. Responsibility of persons with a participating interest

Any person having a participating interest in the designated area to which the Petroleum Resources Agreement applies, shall be responsible–

(a)

for ensuring that the provisions of this Act, any regulations made thereunder, the terms and conditions of the relevant Petroleum Resources

Agreement, the Exploration Licence, the

Development Licence or the Unit Development

Licence, and the directions and guidelines are complied with; and

(b)

for liabilities to any injury or damage caused to a third person.
