53. Assistance to aircrafts in distress

The procedures to be followed in the provision and co-ordination of necessary measures of assistance to be given to an aircraft in distress shall be as determined by the

Authority by rules made in that behalf. Such rules shall be based on the applicable SARPS relating to the same.
