16. Amendment of section 71 of the principal enactment

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Section 71 of the principal enactment is hereby amended in subsection (2) of that section as follows: -

(1)

by the repeal of paragraph (o) of that subsection;

and

(2)

by the repeal of paragraph (p) of that subsection and the substitution therefor, of the following paragraph: -

“(p) prescribing minimum investment and category, minimum job creation, and exemptions and incentives;”.
