4. Amendment of section 36 of the principal enactment

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Section 36 of the principal enactment is hereby amended by the substitution for the words “to a designated foreign currency in such manner and subject to such conditions as shall be prescribed.”, of the words and fi gures “to a designated foreign currency as may be prescribed under the provisions of the Foreign Exchange Act, No. 12 of 2017.”.
