66. Members of the Authority and the Council and officers and servants of the Authority deemed to be public servants

All members of the Authority and the Council,

Director-General, Directors, Deputy Directors, Assistant

Directors, officers, servants and advisers of the Authority shall be deemed to be —

(a)

public servants within the meaning of, and for the purposes of the Penal Code ; and

(b)

public servant within the meaning of section 136 of the Code of Criminal Procedure Act, No. 15 of 1979

for the purpose of instituting proceedings in respect of offences under this Act.
