74. Reference to “Price Control Inspector” to be a reference to relevant officer in the Authority

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

From and after the commencement of this Act, every reference to “Price Control Inspector” in any written law, shall be read and construed as a reference to the relevant officer of the Authority, assigned by the Authority to perform the functions relating to the regulation of the pricing of goods.
