9. Authority may undertake studies on the distribution of goods and services

The Authority may—

(a)

undertake such studies in respect of the sale or supply of any class of goods and services as would ensure the availability to the consumer of such goods and services of satisfactory quality at reasonable prices and in adequate quantities ;

(b)

promote, assist and encourage the State or other organisations including organisations of consumers, for the purposes described in paragraph (a) ; and

(c)

assist and encourage associations of traders to enter into agreements with the Authority for the purposes described in section 14.
