28. Trader to issue receipts to purchasers

Every trader who sells any goods shall on demand, issue to the purchaser thereof, a receipt setting out—

(a)

the date of the sale;

(b)

the quantity of goods sold ;

(c)

the price paid for such quantity;

(d)

nature of the transaction, that is to say, whether the sale was wholesale or retail; and

(e)

any other requirements that may be imposed under any law relating to the issue of receipts by a trader.
