17. Striking persons under treatment

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Any person employed in a Treatment Centre who without reasonable cause strikes, wounds, ill-treats or wilfully neglects any person receiving treatment therein shall be guilty of an offence under this Act.
