12. Amendment of Article 61F of the Constitution

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Article 61F of the Constitution is hereby amended by the omission of the words “a police officer appointed by the National Police Commission” from the definition of the expression “public officer”.
