6. Amendment of Article 52 of the Constitution

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Article 52 of the Constitution is hereby amended in paragraph (7) thereof, by the substitution for the words “the

Constitutional Council, the Public Service Commission” of the words “the Public Service Commission”.
