33. Amendment of section 39 of the principal enactment

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Section 39 of the principal enactment is hereby amended by the substitution for the words “liable to a fine not less than five thousand rupees and not more than ten thousand rupees” of the words “liable to a fine not less than fifty thousand rupees and not more than one hundred thousand rupees”.
