41. Amendment of section 50 of the principal enactment

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Section 50 of the principal enactment is hereby amended in subsection (2) thereof, by the substitution for the words “Not less than five thousand rupees and not more than ten thousand rupees” of the words “not less than ten thousand rupees and not more than thirty thousand rupees.
