40. Amendment of section 49 of the principal enactment

Section 49 of the principal enactment is hereby amended by the repeal of subsection (2) thereof and the substitution therefor of the following subsection:—

“(2)

A licence issued under subsection (1) shall—

(a)

prohibit the carrying on or exercising of the trade or business relating to animals and if it is so carried on or exercised within a radius of ten miles from the boundary of any National Reserve;

(b)

be subject to the prescribed conditions and if no fee is prescribed for the issue of such licence, be issued free of charge.”.
