34. Amendment of section 29 of the principal enactment

Section 29 of the principal enactment is hereby amended by the repeal of subsection (2) of that section and the substitution therefor, of the following subsection: -

“Offences by a body of persons.

Financial Transactions Reporting

“(2) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the powers conferred by subsection (1), the Minister may make regulations in respect of the following matters: -

(a)

prescribing any business as a

“designated non-finance business or profession” or “finance business”

taking into consideration the interests of the national economy; and

(b)

prescribing any person as a customer in relation to a transaction or an account.”.
