4. Postponement of hearing not permitted

Notwithstanding anything in any written law to the contrary, where an application made to a labour tribunal is fixed for hearing and notice has been given to the parties to such application, the labour tribunal shall proceed to hear such application from day to day until its conclusion, and shall not, except for exceptional reasons to be recorded by such tribunal, permit any postponement of such hearing.
