114. Conditions &c., pertaining to licence

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

(1)

Every licence granted under this Act shall—

(a)

be in such form as may be prescribed;

(b)

be subject to such conditions as may be prescribed;

(c)

unless cancelled earlier, be in force for such period as may be specified in such licence.

(2)

A licence granted under this Act may be suspended or revoked by the Authority in case of non-compliance with the prescribed conditions.

(3)

An applicant may at any time withdraw an application for a licence by notifying the Authority in writing, without prejudice to his right to re-apply for a licence.
