110. Sale or distribution of samples of medicine &c., to be prohibited

(1)

(a)

No person shall distribute any medicine, medical device or borderline product marked as Physician’s sample to the general public.

(b)

The provisions of paragraph (a) shall not apply to the distribution of any medicine, medical device or borderline product marked as physician, sample by a Medical

Practitioner, Dentist or Veterinary Surgeon to a patient of such Medical Practitioner, Dentist or Veterinary Surgeon.

(2)

(a)

No person shall transport, exhibit or store any medicine, medical device or borderline product marked as a

Physician’s sample.

(b)

The provisions of paragraph (a) shall not apply to any representative of a company duly authorized by the

Authority.

(3)

No person shall sell any medicine, medical device or borderline product marked as a physician’s sample.
