53. Sale &c., of prohibited medicine

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

No person shall manufacture, import, store, sell, re-pack, distribute, transport, exhibit or have in his possession any medicine which is prescribed as not safe for use.
