13. Amendment of Article 61A of the Constitution

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Article 61A of the Constitution is hereby amended by the substitution for the words “Subject to the provisions of paragraphs (1), (2), (3), (4), and (5) of Article 126”, of the words “Subject to the provisions of Article 59 and of Article 126,”.
