11. Insertion of new section 6A in the principal enactment

The principal enactment is hereby amended by the insertion immediately after section 6 thereof, of the following new section which shall have effect as section 6A in the principal enactment:-

6A. Every holder of a national identity card issued under this Act, shall inform the

Commissioner-General of any change of circumstances affecting the information relating to such person recorded in the

National Register of Persons, in the prescribed manner and form within the prescribed period, for the purpose of updating the National

Register of Persons.”.
