7. Amendment of the section 3 of the principal enactment

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Section 3 of the principal enactment is hereby amended by the insertion immediately after paragraph (a)

of the following new paragraphs:-

“(aa)

a person by name or by office, to be or to act as the

Additional Commissioner-General for the

Registration of Persons;

(aaa)

a person, or two or more persons by name or by office, to be or to act as a Commissioner;”.
