77. Disclousure of interest in any contract made or proposed to be made by the relevant authority

(1)

A member of the relevant authoritywho is directly or indirectly interested in any contract made or proposed to be made by such relevant authority, is required as soon as possible after such fact comes to his knowledge, to disclose the nature of the interest at a meeting of the relevant authority.

(2)

Any disclosure made by a member of the relevant authority under subsection (1), shall be recorded in the

Sri Lanka Atomic Energy minutes of the meeting of such relevant authority, and the member concerned shall-

(a)

not take part in any deliberation or decision of the relevant authority with respect to the contract to which such disclosure relates; and

(b)

be disregarded for the purpose of constituting a quo-rum for a meeting of the relevant authority, where such deliberation or decision is to be taken.
