10. Exemptions

(1)

The Commission may on an application made for an exemption by Order published in the Gazette, exempt any person or category of persons from the requirement of obtaining a licence for generating or distributing electricity, having regard to the manner in which or the quantity of electricity likely to be generated or distributed by such person or category of persons.

(2)

Every such exemption granted under subsection (1)

shall be to such extent, be subject to such conditions and be for such period, as may be specified in the Order.
