18. Amendment of section 29 of the principal enactment

Section 29 of the principal enactment is hereby amended as follows: -

(1)

in subsection (3) of that section –

(a)

by the substitution for the words “in accordance with the national tariff policy:-”, of the words “in consultation with the Ministry of Finance, in accordance with the national tariff policy:-”;

(b)

in paragraph (a) of that subsection, by the substitution for the words “National

System Operator”, of the words “National

System

Operator and distribution licensees”; and

(2)

in the proviso to subsection (4) of that section, by the substitution for the words and figures

“the Wholesale Electricity Market” and “in terms of part IX”, of the words and figures “the competitive Wholesale Electricity Market” and

“in terms of sub-paragraph (ii) of paragraph (b)

of subsection (2) of section 30” respectively.
