13. Additional information

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

(1)

Any officer authorised by the Board, may for the purpose of ascertaining the accuracy of the matters contained in the declaration given in terms of subsection (3)

of section 7 or information provided to the Board under subsection (1) of section 7, call for any additional information which he considers necessary for such purpose.

(2)

It shall be the duty of any person required to furnish additional information under subsection (1), to furnish such information within the time stated.
