3. Establishment of Welfare Benefits Board

There shall be established for the purposes of this

Act, a body to be called the Welfare Benefits Board,

(hereinafter referred to as “the Board”) charged with the administration of the Act and the exercise, performance and discharge of the powers, duties and functions assigned to or conferred on the Board, by this Act.

The Board shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal and may sue and be sued in such name.
