37. Examination of laws, etc to discover acts of corruption

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The Commission shall have the power to examine the laws, practices, and procedures of any public authority in order to discover acts of corruption and methods of work or procedures which, in its opinion, may be conducive to corruption.
