22. Hindering or obstructing an officer or servant to be an offence

Every person who obstructs or hinders any officer or servant of the Authority acting in the discharge of his duties under the provisions of this Act or any regulations or rules made thereunder, shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding the equivalent in

Sri Lankan rupees of ten thousand SDR or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two months or to both such fine and imprisonment.
