28. Attorney-General’s sanction being required

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

No court shall take cognizance of any offence under this Act or any regulation or rules made thereunder, except with the sanction of the Attorney-General.
