204. Appointment of first and subsequent directors

(1)

A person named as a director in an application for incorporation or in an amalgamation proposal, shall hold office as a director from the date of incorporation or from the date the amalgamation proposal becomes effective, as the case may be, until that person ceases to hold office as a director in accordance with the provisions of this Act.

(2)

All subsequent directors of a company shall, unless the articles of the company otherwise provide, be appointed by ordinary resolution.
