Part VI

172. Acts or proceedings of the Institute Board deemed not to be invalid by reason of any vacancy

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The Institute Board may act, notwithstanding any vacancy among its members and any act or proceeding of the Institute Board shall not be or deemed to be invalid by reason only of the existence of any vacancy among its members or any defect in the appointment of a member thereof.
