33. Amendment of section 43 of the principal enactment

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Section 43 of the principal enactment is hereby amended in subsection (1) of that section, by the substitution for the words “in force for any electoral area” and for the words “of that electoral area”, of the words “in force for any ward of any electoral area” and of the words “for that ward”, respectively.
