62. Amendment of section 82C of the principal enactment

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Section 82c of the principal enactment is hereby amended in subsections (2), (3) and (4) of that section, by the substitution for the words “any recognized political party or independent group”, wherever those words appear in those subsections, of the words “for a candidate of any recognized political party or independent group”.
