66. Amendment of section 82R of the principal enactment

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Section 82R of the principal enactment is hereby amended as follows:—

(1)

in paragraph (a) of that section, by the substitution for the words “elected at such election”, of the words

“elected for any ward at such election”; and

(2)

in paragraph (b) of that section, by the substitution for the words “a candidate at such election”, of the words “a candidate for any ward at such election”.
