9. Amendment of section 30 of the principal enactment

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Section 30 of the principal enactment is hereby amended in subsection (3) thereof, by the substitution for the words “after beat of tom-tom,” of the words “by way of public announcement made using a loudspeaker,”.
