106. Publication of rules and directions

Every rule or order made by the Central Bank under this Act shall be published in the Gazette and shall, except any rule or order specified in subsection (2), come into force on the date of such publication or on such later date as such rule or order shall specify.

Upon the publication under subsection (1), every rule or order, the contravention of, or failure to comply with which, entails criminal sanction shall, within three months from the date of publication, be placed before Parliament for approval. Such rule or order shall come into force on the date on which such rule or order is approved by Parliament.

The Central Bank shall maintain a public register of its published rules and directions.
