Part IV · Moneylenders

23. Issue of a licence

(1)

The

Authority having considered the recommendations made by the Director-General under subsection (5) of section 22, and any other matter in the opinion of the Authority is relevant, may-

(a)

issue a licence to the applicant to carry on the moneylending business subject to such terms and conditions as the Authority may think fit; or

(b)

reject the application, subject to the provision of section 27.

(2)

At any time during the duration of the licence, the

Authority may, add to, revoke or vary any of the terms and conditions of the licence.
